It will convenient for the presenter to display a digital or preferably analog clock on the top right hand corner of the slide show. This will help the presenter in various ways: In case a wall clock is not present in the room, or the presentation needs to follow strict time control, or in a quiz etc.

In windows 7 Right click the desktop > Gadgets and add a clock.

Right click the clock and choose "Always on Top"

It will display in front of your slide show.

I tried Tushar Mehta's timer Add-in:

http://www.tushar-mehta.com/powerpoint/ppt_timer/index.htm

This works very well and I am able to display the current time on my slide.

The clock display is digital. Is there an analog add-in?

Warm regards

    Hi John

Thanks for the solution. The clock display with several analog clock options is just what I wanted.

Also, there is a way to display the date on the top right hand corner:

Right clik the desktop > Gadgets and add a calender  and choose its option to be "Always on Top"!

Then you can also use the gadget of Weather to display current temperature in your city!

There are more gadgets in the gadgets gallery which one can try. I am not sure weather there are

additional gadgets available online apart from the default ones which come with the Windows 7 installation.

    Warm regards
