I've been downloading Office 365 Premium for the past 17 hours and it still hasnt passed 1/4 of the download bar.
Downloading from a 2mb line.
Any idea what the size of the file is and why it's taking so long to download and install.

For Office 365 Home Premium you need 3.0 GB of space.
The initial installation file is 700-800MB and the final installation uses 3-4 GB
You can't see download progress because MS want's to make 365 "idiot proof" by hiding as much as they can in the background.
You really do not have to use words that reduce or try to reduce people. You really can just help people without insulting them or making them feel stupid.
Taking offense at everything can make you appear like the ones you espouse to be protecting with your feigned outrage.'Idiotproof' is not offensive but getting offended at everything for any little reason is really annoying and personally offensive to me.
I am sorry you took my comment in a way I did not intend.
I wasn't trying to denigrate or reduce anyone. Calling a tool or product "idiot proof" is a slang term used to describe something that has been made as absolutely simple as possible so that any one and everyone, even any "idiot off the street" can use it. Think of a toaster as an example of an "idiot proof" product. You put your bread in the hole(s), pull the handle down and wait. Once you have initially set the desired "darkness" nothing more has to be done.
I'm interested to know the download size, not the post-install space requirement. Actually I'm also facing the same issue. The program is not showing us any info about the download. We don't even get to know whether the download is in progress or not.
