    Hi,

Thank you for using Microsoft Community.

I would try to assist you related to your printing issue in Excel 2013.

Do you face this issue only with a specific Excel file and Specific sheets within the file?

Does the selected Excel data look fine in print preview?

What happens if you select a range and then click on Page layout, Print area and Set Print Area, now try to check if it prints the selection?

If the issue is only with a specific file, you may copy the content of the data to a new Excel workbook and check if it works fine.

I hope this helps. If you need any further information, you can always reply and I’ll be happy to help you.

    Thank you.

I am having the exact same problem.

I have written a template for my work responsibilities and the area is one to print out the report.

    It no longer works.

What I have discovered is that if I change the paper size from 8.5x11 to 8.5x14 it shows up.

    Which makes no sense.

I have several different tabs/sheets and some work - some don't

Again this doesn't make sense and your simple copy and paste into another workbook is idiotic and doesn't address the problem.

I found that Excel was wanting to use the Bypass tray on my printers for certain print jobs.  Print jobs from the user were stacking up unprinted in the machine, while their other non-Excel jobs went through...  The Printer's settings on the particular computer were set for "Auto" paper source selection.  I edited the printer's default settings from the Devices and Printers > Printer Properties  section and manually set the default to Tray 1 (which is 8.5x11).  Problem solved.  Weird

You used to be able to highlight an area and "print selection."  Is that no longer an option?  I don't want to have to set a print area just to print this one little section.

I ended up copying one sheet to another. That got the printing working. I did try to set the print area prior to asking my question, that didn't work either. Anyway now I know what I have to do in the furture.

    Thanks

    Joe
