Good books on MS project and study materials

I recently got the book on MS Project entitled

"Planning and Scheduling using MS Project 2010" by Paul Harris.

This is a very  useful book as it gives hands on excercises.  I have

installed 60 day trial version of MS Project Professional 2013 and learning

the tool using these excercises.

I am now trying to compile a list of good books and study materials on MS Project.

What are certifications where MS Project skill sets are tested? need pointers on free online

tutorials and mock tests for these certifications.

    On the web, I searched for good books on Project 2013. I found two books which  have received

    favourable reviews:

    1. Carl Chatfield and Timothy Johnson, " Microsoft Project 2013 Step by Step", Microsoft Press.

    Hi,

    I'm afraid I don't have the answers to any of your questions.  The best I could recommend is to review information on the web regarding certifications benefits.  A quick search turned up:

    Regarding pass/fail percentages - I am doubtful that information would be made public,

    The exam is quite new, so the exam preparation information may not be released yet.

    Thanks Julie.

    I explored the Project 2013 exam web page. About the certification, I have couple of

    questions:

    • What are the advantages and benefits of certification?
    • How can it help in better placements? ( Are there statistics to support this)
    • What is the success percentage ? ( i.e., for every 100 exam takers, how many are successful )

    As far as the preparation materials listed in the web page, the link to MeasureUp( measureup.com) is giving an error. Then on the Self test  Software ( selftestsoftware.com), I could not find the

    Project 2013 study materials or sample tests.

    Not sure which exam (2010 or 2013) you are looking for.  Project 2010 exam is 70-178.  See:
