I need to have a couple of questions sorted out before deciding which office365 license i will buy:

  • i'm an employee of a company.. let's say i purchase the office365 home premium, can i use it in my laptop to make documents used for my office (employer) needs? eg. a presentation of business plan to my superior and colleagues using my laptop, or making business letter for business relation, or making company report documents, or analyzing cost..
  • if i have purchased the home premium license for one month, can i change/upgrade to small business premium in the following month? or vice versa..

Good answers would be very much appreciated

    Hi,

Thank you for choosing Microsoft Community.

Office suite which specifies Not for commercial use is not licensed for any commercial business activities, nonprofit business activities or revenue-generating business activities.

If you have purchased Office 365 Home Premium monthly subscription and want to upgrade to Office 365 Small Business then you have to cancel the subscription and have to purchase Office 365 Small Business program.

I hope the above information helps. Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Thank you.
