If you have a computer with Office activated on it, we can provide you with a tool to extract the product key from the HD.

This is my problem right now, how do I extract the product key?

WHAT VERSION OF OFFICE?  (yes I'm shouting!) What version of windows?

Assuming Office 2010 or earlier ...

You can't. Simple. You absolutely have to have your product key.

If you have a computer with Office activated on it, we can provide you with a tool to extract the product key from the HD.

If you bought an online download license (not likely unless you bought the optional "backup" disk), then you may be able to go back to the online store you bought it from, log in with your email address to get the PK.

Is there any chance you have an image copy backup that has Office installed on it. Then you could use the product key extraction tool.

You don't, for the long term.

For the Short term you can install Office without a product key. Depending on where you got the installation file, the trial may last 30 days or 25 "starts".

    Hello Juan,

Which Office version are you trying to reinstall?

If you have the proof of purchase or the disc, refer the link below on how to obtain a new key then download and install the appropriate Office suite and verify the status.

    Office 2010: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823570#howto3

    Office 2007: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2548260

For further queries, reply and we are happy to assist.

    Thank you.
