I would like to export all text in a powepoint presentation to Excel.  I do not want it formatted as an image or object.  I need to be able to use/format the text.

Thank, Trina

    Hi,

If you do a google search for 'extract all text from a PPT presentation vba' you will find routines which extract the text to a text file. Excel can open text files.

    Hi Trina,

I think you'd have to write a VBA routine to do that.

There is a 3rd party app that my company sells called ppt-Extract. It will pull PPT slides text into Word... not Excel however.
