How do  we embed flyer in email.

We want to advertize a workshop and we have a flyer designed for email distribution.  We are thinking better to have it show up than put in PDF.  If this seems true,.. how do you do it?

And will a PAGES flyer work or does it need to be converted to WORD>? Also it has art work and color.

You can create a flyer in Word while using Word's Web Layout view. This will allow you to work in a way that shows you what your recipients will see when you use File > Share > Email as HTML.

The only thing I would change related to joe's answer is more than likely you will have to Insert a File or insert image from a File depending upon the email Client you use.

I use SeaMonkey and when using stml Mail it allow for insert an Image.

My preference though is convert to a PDF. if your using Word Mac:

    1. Create your Flyer in Word
    2. Save the File (for backup and to use as a reference on next flyer).
    3. Go To File menu > Print Menu
    4. Click on the PDF button
    5. Hold button down until Menu pops up.
    6. Choose Adobe PDF.
    7. Follow Directions as the come up save the PDF.

    Now open Acrobat

    1. Make sure you have an email Client set that will work with acrobat. On Mac only Apple mail is allowed. They don't yet know about outlook for Mac.
    2. Then Click on file menu or Acrobat menu  and choose Email
    3. Is asked for a Title and a brief note do it.

Save it as an image and then drag and drop the same into the body of an HTML message.
