Table Formula Percentage

Anonymous

I create a table in Word 2007.

Cell A1 is the number 200.

Cell B1  is the number 100

Cell C1 i is the formula "=B1/A1", and the Number Format is 0.00%.

But what shows up in C1 is ".50%" and not 50.00% which is 100/200 as a percentage result.

Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks to all.

    You need to use =B1/A1*100

    If you press Alt+F9 to toggle on the display of the field codes, you will see

    { = BA/A1 # "0.00% }

    Add *100 after A1 and then use Alt+F9 again to toggle off the display of the field codes.

    Thanks very much.  I will try it.

    The other question is how to copy the C1 formula to C2 and it connects to B2/A2 and not to B1/A1 as that's what it does automatically...

    Thanks again.

    It worked, so just waiting to hear back re the other question.

    And the third question is, how do i update all fields at one time, because if I change one of the numbers it affects another cell but it does not do it till I update....and if i do a lot of changes, I would like to update all fields at one time..

    Thanks very much re the next two questions.
