I just installed Office 2013 Pro on my machine and created a MS account with that. I also need to install stand alone PowerPoint 2013 on another machine. Can I use my live account to register/download/install this or do I need another account? Is there a limit to the number of MS products I can register using my MS account?

    Hi Steve,

As per the issue description you want to install standalone PowerPoint 2013 on the second computer.

I would need more information on the issue:

    1. Did you purchase PowerPoint 2013 standalone product or do you want to install PowerPoint 2013 from Office 2013 Professional to be installed on the second computer?

Note: If Office 2013 Professional is a perpetual  license then it can be installed on only one system. Hence you wont be able to install only PowerPoint 2013 or the complete Office program on any other system.

    1. If you have purchased PowerPoint 2013 standalone program then you have to login to the account which was used to purchase the product download, install and activate PowerPoint using that account.

I hope the above suggestion helps. Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Thank you.

Yes, I purchased a seperate stand-alone powerpoint 2013 liscense. I wasn't sure how many MS liscense I can use on my account that I used when I bought and installed Office 2013. I didn't know if every software liscence you purchase from MS requires a seperate MS account or not. Doesn't sound like it does though.
