How do I close a Worksheet without closing Excel

I don't see the buttons on Excel 2010 and I don't understand the keyboard shortcut. Please help.

    Ctrl + w closes a workbook without closing Excel.

    You must be aware that not all of use have this second row of commands to minimize, restore and close. Here is what I see. best wishes

    Thanks for the input. The ribbon I see at the top of the worksheet is missing the commands indicated in your messages. This is probably because I am working with an Excel program that is hosted in the cloud and it has apparently been modified. I'll just use Ctrl-W to close a worksheet.

    Refer the screenshot mentioned below and click on the "x" mark (highlight with red circle in the image) on the top left hand side corner to close the worksheet in a workbook.

    To close just a workbook/worksheet and not excel:

    1. At top of screen notice at top left corner the stoplight buttons (red, yellow, green dots.)
    2. Click on the red button.
    3. Save the file when asked.
