    Hello,

Ensure the computer is updated with all the available updates.

You may also update the Graphics driver on the system and then try re-installing and accessing Office 2013 applications to check. To update drivers on Windows 7, refer to the following link:

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/update-driver-hardware-isnt-working-properly#update-driver-hardware-isnt-working-properly=windows-7

    Thank you

Hello, I just tried this solution, but I get an error when Office is trying to repair itself:

    Couldn't repair Office

We're sorry - please try repairing again.

    I have tried multiple times.

    Hi Lee,

    Thank you for replying.

Are you able to find and open the Office 2013 applications by going to Start and All Programs list?

Check if Office 2013 shows in the list of installed programs by going to Control Panel and Programs and Features. If found, then repair the installation and verify the results.

I have done the uninstallation successfully with the Fix It tool for Office 2013, but my installation still gives me same error:

    Problem signature:

    Problem Event Name: APPCRASH

    Application Name: FIRSTRUN.EXE

    Application Version: 15.0.4517.1004

    Application Timestamp: 51b140ad

    Fault Module Name: d3d11.dll

    Fault Module Version: 6.2.9200.16570

    Fault Module Timestamp: 5153774d

    Exception Code: c0000005

    Exception Offset: 00010860

    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3

    Locale ID: 4105

When I try to open an office program in safe mode or out of safe mode, I get the same results still of

    Problem signature:

    Problem Event Name: APPCRASH

    Application Name: WINWORD.EXE

    Application Version: 15.0.4517.1003

    Application Timestamp: 51a6f6a7

    Fault Module Name: d3d11.dll

    Fault Module Version: 6.2.9200.16570

    Fault Module Timestamp: 5153774d

    Exception Code: c0000005

    Exception Offset: 00010860

    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3

    Locale ID: 4105

As an example. Therefore I cannot know if there are Add-ons for Office or not. When I try the repair, I am prompted with an error of: "This action is only valid for products that are currently installed."

Thanks for the help so far! But it's still not working.

    Hi Lee,

Let us try the following and check if it helps in resolving the issue with installing Office 2013:

Check for multiple/trial version of Office installed on the computer by going to Control panel and Programs and Features. If found you may uninstall them and then try installing Office 2013.

You may also use the Fix it tool to remove Office installed on the computer from the following article.

    For Office 2013:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501

    For Office 2010:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

Note: Ensure to save the fix it tool on the desktop and then run the file.

Once the Fix it completes then you may install Office and verify the results.

For the issue with not able to open and work on Office applications after the installation completes, you may refer to the following threads and check if it helps:
