Avery 5160 in Office 365

I am using Microsoft Word installed with Office 365, and am trying to create labels using Avery Templates. The current app does not have a template for 5160, and when I search for additional templates in the Office store it says "You already have this app". I am going to have to switch to another computer running an earlier version of Windows for now, but for later use, where do I find an Avery template for 5160.

Word 2013 in Office 365 does have the Avery 5160 template:

What may be confusing is that the list is not in numeric order, but in an "alphanumeric" order. All the numbers that start with 5 come after all the numbers that start with 4, regardless of how many digits they contain. If you looked at 11070 at the start of the list and concluded that there were no numbers lower than that, you're mistaken. Also note that you must select "Avery US Letter" to get this list.

If you still can't find it in Word, you can download a file from this page Avery's site. Note two things:

    • If you don't want their crapware toolbar, you must remember to click the "template only" option before you click the Download button. And when you do click Download, you'll be required to give them your name and address, and by default they want to send you advertising email.
    • Although Avery calls it a "template", it's really what Word calls a document (*.doc). You can't base other documents on it as you can with a real template (*.dot or *.dotx), although you can open copies of it.

If you're using a mail merge to create the labels, read http://www.gmayor.com/graphics_on_labels.htm.

If you just want to print a page of identical labels, click the New Document button in the Labels dialog. You'll get a one-page document that looks like this:

If you don't see the dotted lines around the table cells, click the View Gridlines button at the left end of the Table Tools | Layout tab.

Click in the top left cell. Use the Insert > Pictures tool to insert the graphic. Right-click the graphic and set its Wrap to Square, and drag it to the right size and position. Click to the right of the graphic and enter the text for the label.

Position the pointer so it becomes a black arrow pointing northeast, and click to select the whole cell. Then copy to the clipboard.

Now position the pointer above the top of the column so it becomes a black arrow pointing down, and click to select the whole column.

Paste from the clipboard. The contents of the first cell will be repeated in each cell of the column. Then select the middle column and paste; and select the rightmost column and paste. (You don't want to put anything in the narrow columns, which represent the spaces between the labels.)

When you have a full set of labels, you can just print, or save the document first so you can reprint it at will.

I found the Avery Label in "Label Options' box shown above, but I have another problem. I would like to insert a graphic in the label, in addition to the name and address. Can I do that, and, if so, how?
