A family of Microsoft word processing software products for creating web, email, and print documents.
Hi Sailor_1212,
Your situation is not the same as in the original question. Sadly, Microsoft has made it nearly impossible for any mortal to keep track of the factors involved.
The first factor is that, while you have Office 2013, the description of the repair options indicates that it's the "Click to Run" installer that's delivered by the Office 365 subscription -- which is now what almost all retail customers get. This installer doesn't offer Add/Remove Features -- you get everything or nothing.
The MSI-file or "on premises" installer that was standard in all previous versions is now available only to volume licensees (mostly corporations) and MSDN subscribers (mostly developers), and the Add/Remove Features option is available only in that version.
The second factor is that the original poster was looking for the Equation 3.0 editor, the legacy equation feature from Word 2003 and earlier. It sounds like you're having trouble with the 2013 equations (Alt+= and use the items on the Equation Tools tab of the ribbon).
Do you mean that you can get Alt+= to start an equation, but that everything on the Equation Tools tab is grayed out? Or do you see something else?
In light of the differences, it might be better for you to start a new thread, fill out all the information about your Office and Windows versions, and fully describe what you do and what you see. You can use the rightmost button in the forum editor's toolbar to upload one or more screen shots if that would help to explain the problem.
