Excel web app - bug at columns AD-AE, BH-BI, CL-CM, ...

In an "excel web app" file, there a bug between certain columns. It is like if there was a junction at each of thoses pairs of columns (AD-AE, BH-BI, CL-CM,...).

This happens even if the file is created within skydrive or if it is an excel file imported in skydrive and open in excel web app.

To see what happens, let's go in cell (AD,1) and write something longer than the cell width. The text is cut before the beginning of cell (AE,1). Same in other sectors mentionned before. But elsewhere it doesn't happen.

It do not seams like a big issue but in the file I have create, it is a big issue! :s

Can you tell me if we can adjust some parameter to avoid this.

NOTE: it happens even under explorer 9, chrome 32 and firefox 24

Thanks!!

    Thanks for look at that.

I did the same check but I did not think to report it.

Actually, I built my file on a computer based excel release with all the functions I need (and lock functions in particular).

However, the purpose of this file is to be filled on line by other people (with share options of skydrive and office web apps). So this issue will not allow them to enter a data (text) which most of the time is larger than the cell width and then must extend beyond the right limit of the cell. So I am the one who will receive their questions :)

I think a developper of excel web app would be able to tell us if this is a limit at that point of excel web app development or if it can be fixed soon.

I think it is a bug in the app's display of data and not the workbook - if you download the file and open it in Excel (non-web) those show up just fine. I have no idea how to fix it, though.....
