Side note too large - won't resize

I've got a side note open and want to keep it there for misc notes and reminders -- but it is too large and I can't get the horizontal bar to shrink it down to more of a post-it note size. . . (only the vertical is letting me resize). Any advice is appreciated.

    Hello,

For better understanding the problem you may provide us a screen shot of how the side note appears.

Meanwhile you may manually resize the side note window and check.

To do that, open or create a side note, resize the window by dragging the double ended arrow which appears in the corner of the window, close and re-open the side note again and verify the result.

If the above information does not help, then you may reply for further assistance.

    Thank you

    Hi,

I am pasting in a screen shot here. I keep trying to manually change the size with the double sided arrow, but it will not resize. I get the corner arrow and attempt to drag it, and it just will not do anything. (The straight, side arrow will engage and make it narrower or wider--it's the angled arrow that won't work.)

Thanks. . . I sure hope that's not true, as it starts off as a small square. And since it's supposed to be similar to a sticky note -- with the option to jot quick notes, I am hoping there's a way to get it back that way. Anyone else with this problem?

AFAIK.. it is not possible to resize the side note window.

If I close that sidenote and start a new one, it opens up as the full length of the screen again, too.
