We are updating the print server park to Windows 2022, and we are having problems with the print management that cannot list the queues of a Windows 2003 print server, not even the ports and other configurations.
After some time of being added, the 2003 server has an error status.
Windows 2008 servers can be managed but cannot manage Windows 2022 server.

I would expect to see the printers but you would not be able to administrate them due to the new protocol requirement defaults in Windows 10 and greater.

If the error you mention is due to connectivity to the 2003 spooler, then you will need to clear that up first.

Can you browse to the older server and view the shares? Even file shares?
