Hi,

How do I take a snapshot via OneNote for Mac . . . I want to be able to drag boxes over needed areas - copy/paste to other applications?  TY!

On the mac you can press Control + Shift + 4 to take a screen capture, but you then need to save it to a file and insert in into OneNote.

My method involves downloading free Evernote software Skitch.

Press Capture Screen - you get crosshairs to select your image.

Menu --> Edit --> Copy Image

    Paste into One Note

Beauty with Skitch is it takes a screen shot, then allows you to edit it (add annotations, arrows etc).  Of course this is optional, but it's a great additional feature.

Thank you, I will use try the listed steps, but w/ OneNote for Windows, you draw a window around the area, clicked the Windows Key + something else (escapes my mind right now), then could paste to any other program - worked very slick/fast/efficient - there has to be a parallel in Mac b/c Mac Rules! I'll keep watching for other feedback too, but thank you very much
