Original title: MS365

I have been being charged 10.59 a month for office 365 but recently was told via internet I need to purchase I purchased at 6.00 a month.  Am I going to be charged both amounts monthly if so I wish to cancel all.  I will keep the 6.00 a month but not the 10.59 a month.  I SHOULD HAVE NOT LOST THIS AND HAD TO PURCHASE AGAIN.  WHAT IS THE PROBLEM.  DO NOT CHARGE ME ANY MORE UNTIL YOU RESOLVE THIS.

Hello Trudy,

I'd like to ask a question before we proceed:

To which editions of Office 365 did you subscribe for?

Go to the following My Account page on Office.com and check information about the editions of Office 365 you've subscribed for:

www.office.com/myaccount

For assistance related to the charges, I request you to contact billing department as they can best address this issue.

Contact them by going to the Billing Account Management site. You'll find the "Contact Customer Support" under "Getting help".

I look forward to your reply to assist you further.

Thank you.

Exactly how were you told via internet you NEED to purchase at 6.00 per month.

$6 per month is the price of the new "Office 365 Personal" which is good for only one computer at a time, rather than the 5-computers Office 365 Home Premium is good for.

Is it possible that you misunderstood advertising for the new offering?

No, you should not be charged for both, but that does not mean it may not happen.

We, on this forum cannot help you with subscription issues.  You will have to contact MS Billing support as Daniel suggested.

    Daniel,

I have the same issue as Trudy.  What is the problem and why is this charging a monthly fee?  Where did the fee come from?  How do I stop or opt out of this?

    regards,

    James Moses
