Office for iPad apps won’t activate

I’ve purchased an Office 365 subscription and when I

try to activate my Office for iPad apps, I get one of the following errors: “Cannot

Activate. This account doesn't have a paid Office 365 subscription” or "Your purchase was successful, but we couldn't activate

the app. Please try again later to restore your purchase."

    Hello,

    We have deployed a fix for this on the 9th of April so it should no longer be an issue. However, if you are still experiencing this problem, please follow these steps.

    1. Close any running Office for iPad apps by swiping them out.
    2. Re-launch any Office for iPad app.
    3. Go back to the “Buy” page and select I already have a subscription. This will try to restore your original purchase receipt.

    Note: Make sure that you are signing in with the same Apple account that you used when you purchased the Office 365 subscription.
