I recently purchased a new ultrabook and was wanting to install my office 2007 onto it.  I do not have a disk drive or disk but I have the product code.  How do I go about adding this?

Thank you

B

Sorry if this was answered elsewhere, I was unable to find it

No prob.  Yes it has been asked many times before, but searching this site is often useless.

You have a couple of options.

    1. If you have the installation disk, you can copy it to a USB drive or network drive.  Copy the whole thing.
    2. Since you have your product key, you can go to one of the following links and download (and SAVE) the installation file to your local HD before running it to perform the install.  Make sure to download the installation file for the RIGHT Office bundle.

    2007 Office Download Sites

It appears that some of these online download links don’t work any more, sorry (Please let us know which one worked and didn’t work for you so I can update the list, thanks).

NOTE:  Make sure you copy the installation file to a USB drive / burn to CD/DVD to you have it for future use!

This site has direct download links to Digital River for most Office 2007 installation file, Office bundles and standalone programs. You may have to scroll down to find your language.**http://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/51-office-2007-direct-download-links******

One of the other posters on this forum suggested this site. It appears they are still selling Office 2007. I (Rohn 007) have not tried it myself, but the site was registered back in the Summer of 2011 so, it has been around for a while (not exactly fly-by-night): http://www.bargainsoftwareshop.com/
