Automatic text flow to next page of document

I have written a document in WORD that I want to move to Publisher. In Word it is on 8.5 x 11 template that I want to make smaller (5.5 x 8.5) for a booklet, I have been copying and pasting each page  from WORD into the smaller template in Publisher. The text does not automatically wrap or flow onto the next page. Is there some way to correct this so that the text flows automatically to the next page?

Create your blank booklet, at least 4 pages. On the first page create a text box, go to Insert > text group and Insert File > browse to your Word file and insert. Publisher 2010 will automatically create new pages and text boxes flowing the text from one to the other. In my test the additional pages are added to the end of the publication so you may have to go back and delete the original blank pages.

Alternatively create your blank booklet, draw an empty text box on each page and add enough duplicate pages for the entire Word file in increments of 4 pages...you can add more later if necessary. Go to View and check Boundaries so you can see the empty text boxes. Open your Word file in Word, Edit > select all or Ctrl+A and copy. Go to the first page and first text box of your Publisher booklet and paste. Look for a three dot box on the lower right side of the text box and hover the mouse over it. It will say 'Text in overflow'. Click that box and a 'pitcher' icon will appear, go to the second page and second text box and 'pour' the overflow text into the next text box by clicking in that box. Click on the overflow text icon again and proceed to the next text box, etc until all the overflow text is visible. This method may take a while longer but gives you more control than the first as you can skip pages within the booklet.

Not true. Changed in the way it works - yes, removed - no. See my reply where I give details about how to use the feature in Pub 2010.

    Hi Jeeter,

The Auto Flow feature has been removed from Publisher and is not available in the Publisher 2010 version. Please refer to the following Microsoft Answers link for more information on this:
