    (there are lots more reviews on the net, "google is your friend")

    Some big things, some small.  Lots of emphasis on "the cloud": saving to the cloud, collaborating through the cloud, running office "click to Run" from the cloud (and monthly/annual renting of Office). They've "improved" the user interface to be better suited for small devices.

    It really depends on how you use Office. For a home or single user a lot of the changes don't do you much good. If you are a business user and are willing to invest the time and effort  to learn the new features then it could well be worth your while. Unfortunately, most businesses I know aren't that visionary.

    If you have a "spare" machine, or enough space on your machine,  you can download a copy of the preview,  it is very similar to the final version.

    The MS 365 FAQ page explicitly states that all Office 365 is a new version of “click-to-run” now called “Office On Demand”

    <snip>

    Office installs more quickly than ever, thanks to Click-to-Run, a streaming technology that lets you begin to use Office applications before installation is complete. All of the Office 365 plans use Click-to-Run.

    </snip>

    <snip http://www.microsoft.com/office/preview/en/faq>

    Can I keep my current version of Office during the Preview?

    Yes, you can install and use the Preview version alongside an existing version of Office 2003, Office 2007, or Office 2010.

    </snip>

    The above articles indicate that the Office 365 download is installed in a virtual environment, a “computer within a computer” which is supposed to allow you to install it parallel to existing Office installations, including Outlook.

    <snip http://www.microsoft.com/office/preview/en/faq >

    Why is my country not listed for Office 365 Home Premium?

    The Preview version of Office 365 Home Premium is supported in a limited number of countries. If your country is not listed, we strongly recommend that you select a different product to preview. Selecting a country that you don't live in can cause issues with other Microsoft accounts that you might already have, including Xbox and Zune.

     </snip>

    Please note that this Customer Preview of Office 2013 will expire approximately 60 days after the RTM (final version) of Office 2013 becomes available in the market. Once the Preview version has expired, the applications enter read-only mode, which means that you can view or print documents only, it isn't possible to create new documents, edit, or save them. You must uninstall the Preview version of Office before installing a newer version of Office.

    How long does it take to install Office 365 2013

    We started creating a Word document within a minute of starting the download (connected to a Wi-Fi network) and the whole Office suite finished installing in five minutes.

    "(there are lots more reviews on the net, "google is your friend")"

    WOW... A Microsoft MVP recommending scroogle to learn about MS Office. Actually Bing is a much better more reliable product to search for information about . . . well anything, but especially Microsoft products and programs.

    google is patently NOT your friend.

    Bing, on the other hand, does not spy on you like google does nor do they sell your information like google does. And they have the most amazing home pages you ever did see. scroogle, not so much.
