How can I create qr codes from my excel inventory spreadsheet?

I am a very basic user. I have created a spreadsheet with my scrapbooking inventory detail. I want to use QR codes to put on bags of items to tell me what is in the bags.

Is there a way I can create a batch of QR codes from my spreadsheets?

Unfortunately, the link provided only takes me to the Google docs homepage, not to any template in particular, so I don't know which template you used.

Thank you Jim. That is VERY helpful. It has been a long time since I did a mail merge and I was thinking this is how I would have to get the codes to print out.

However, I was wanting to use my Excel Spreadsheets to first CREATE the QR Codes. I'm trying to eliminate double input of my data into a QR Code creator. I have a couple thousand items and want to avoid this if at all possible.

I found the following template in Google, but, I want to stick to Excel, if possible.

    https://drive.google.com/previewtemplate?id=0AlaFSC7EEK8ddG1Gam9taXVXTl9GNURrQzhtSGdiVFE&mode=public

I imported a file to Google and copied and pasted the QR CODE formula into my file and modified the formula (doing the best I can since I don't really don't know what I'm doing, lol) to include all of my columns of data. However, when I scan the code, it just shows all the data as one continuous string of data. I wanted the data to be in a list format to be easily read.

I may be asking too much here. I don't want to use the codes for online use. Just personal use. I guess I basically am looking for an inventory system so I can create labels from spreadsheets I already have. Not having much luck, unless I want to pay someone like QRStuff.com to do a batch prep for me. And even then, I'm not sure it would be what I need. I like doing my own stuff if I can so I get what I want and need.

Thank you for your previous quick and thorough response.

I'll assume you already have QR codes saved as picture files.  You can purchase QR codes from several on-line vendors if you don't have your codes already.

Once you have your codes, in your Excel Spreadsheet use a column to describe the codes, and then use a corresponding column containing the full file path to the codes.

Then use Word's Mail Merge feature to print the codes onto stickers for your bags,

Here's a step-by-step tutorial on how to use the INCLUDE PICTURE Word field in a mail merge. This is how you bring your QR codes to the labels. I see the title is wrong - I'll fix that later today.
