I downloaded it from google chrome fine, its just that when Im in the installation setup. its keeps saying the error 1406 setup cannot open the registry key and then its says that i may not have valid permission but I do have permission because I have full control on that particular file that they saying I may not have permission on.

You might want to reset the registry settings using this tools:

SubInacle : http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=23510

Make sure to check the file and folder permission Only

Tweaking : http://www.tweaking.com/files/setups/tweaking.com_windows_repair_aio_setup.exe

Backup the registry before doing any changes.

Cheers!

A different Internet Browser - FireFox for example.  A number of users who were unable to download and install Office using Microsoft's Internet Explorer have reported that the were able to download and install it when using FireFox.

Google for FireFox and you will find it.
