How do I get to a site to download Power Map 2010?   I can only find sites for 2013.   My company is on 2010 and I need Power Map.  They have a contract so won't upgrade my entire Microsoft Office to 2013.

I know this is already answered but FWIW, I didn't have office 2013 yet but I did have access to Power BI -- so I downloaded Power BI Desktop on my machine and was able to create Geo Maps. Hope that helps!

    Let's restate the question.

I think you are looking for Mapping capability using Microsoft Excel 2010.

Previous versions of Excel (97ish) included an add in called Datamap.  This allowed information to be displayed with respect to geography.

Excel 2013 has a new plugin called Power Map, part of the Power BI tools, and formerly known as Geoflow.

It appears that Office & Excel 2010 falls into a gap area between the two.

You could use a stand alone software product from Microsoft called Map Point.  It is available but about to be discontinued December 2013 and currently costs $299 as of Oct 2014.

You might also be able to use Bing maps or google maps, which appear to be along the migration away from packaged software.
