Not sure what you mean here. Provided you have a visible main window then it should automatically show up in the Windows taskbar when the app is running. Other than ensuring you have an app icon defined (which it will autogenerate when you create the project) then it'll just work.

So you want to add your app to the system tray. For that you'll use the WindowsTrayIcon class. Refer to the official WeatherTwentyOne sample app they put together that demonstrates how to add a tray icon to your MAUI app.
