User Access Logging Service (UALSVC) consumes increasing amounts of RAM on servers

dear all,

i am facing an issue that UALSVC service is consuming large amount of memory on one of our domain server? stop anti-virus on the server and the issue persists.

i want to know is there any suggestion to trobleshoot the issue

    Hi.
    If necessary, you can try disabling the service or deleting the data recorded by UAL. The specific steps are as follows:
    To disable UAL:

    1. Win+R enter "services.msc"
    2. Right-click “User Access Logging Service” and select “Properties”. In the General tab, change the Startup type to Disabled, and then click “OK”.

    To delete data recorded by UAL:

    1. Open Windows Explorer
    2. Go to \Windows\System32\Logfiles\SUM\
    3. Delete files in the folder.
