Hi
We just recently deploy intune.
In the past, we use SCCM and when we deploy intune, we deploy co-managed environment so that our computers/users can still install software from software center.
but since nowadays everyone is working remotely from home - i want to ask is it possible to replace the software center from SCCM with Intune company portal for software deployment?
can the company portal offers 'Available' and 'Required' software catalogue just like in software center?

Yes, this is possible, but whether it's right for org is based on your orgs requirements. Are you really asking about moving your software deployments from ConfigMgr to Intune?

yes we want to try that.
we want to move away from sccm as sccm software center only works when computers is in the office.
with intune company portal, we hope that because it is cloud based it will serve our requirement better (for software deployment and management) since most of our users is WFH and remote.

@hyugai , From your description, I know you want to move the software deployment from Configuration Manager to Intune.

If so, we can firstly switch the workloads of "Office Click-to-Run apps" and "client apps" to Intune. And only deploy software from Intune portal.
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/comanage/workloads#office-click-to-run-apps

To deploy app in Intune, you can view the app types we can deploy from Intune in the following link::
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/apps/apps-add

Choose the app type you want and choose the assignment type you want. Here is a link with more details for the reference:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/apps/apps-deploy

    Hope it can help.
