TLS 1.3 is in the roadmap for SQL 2022 and MS docs says in feature preview, at the moment it lacks clear evidence of SQL 2022 supporting that and patches/updates for lower versions.

Does TLS 1.3 enabling require any patches or manual procedures? Could someone share insights on this?

    Hi @Anonymous ,
You can press the "Win + R" to open the run and search the regedit in the window.
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols , create the new TLS 1.3
Or you may try the IISCrypto
Actually I just found that it can only set the TLS 1.2 maybe you can try it.

But i may say I won't sugget that you use TLS1.3 Cuz I think that TLS 1.2 is already ok. You can check this official article:https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/kb3135244-tls-1-2-support-for-microsoft-sql-server-e4472ef8-90a9-13c1-e4d8-44aad198cdbe
    Best regards
