Hi,

My account will be deactivated shortly and I would like to share a document with ongoing access to multiple people, without the new admin having to re-create the document.
Is it possible to transfer ownership of a document without downloading and re-uploading to the server?

i.e. I have a roster on excel 365 that my staff have access to.
I want to let the new manager take over the excel sheet without having to create an entire new document and send out new links.
Is this possible?

Many thanks in advance.

    Hi @V K

I am pretty certain that your files will be accessible even after you have been disabled. This is true if your onedrive does not get deleted.

    Question:

If a user creates a file on OneDrive, and shares it with others (giving them "Full Control" access) - and then the original user's account is disabled - do the other accounts with "Full Control" still have access to the files?

    Answer:

As long as the drive still exists, yes.
