Windows Activation error 0x8007232B

I have M365 User account with E3 license and I have checked that is also has Windows Activation license enabled (in M365 admin portal) enabled. I also have updated Windows and opened Office Word app to automatically login with user account. Still, after multiple restarts Windows isn't activated. One computer I installed today, another one I installed last month but it was not actively used. Is this a known problem, that it just takes time to activate? Can I speed up this somehow?

    Hi,

    Seems like a DNS issue, can you check the connectivity and access to activate. Steps and resolution over here - common-troubleshooting-procedures-kms-dns

    Hello Yanara,

    The requirements to activate Windows 10/11 Enterprise included in the Microsoft 365 subscription is to already have the active version of Windows 10/11 Pro.

    Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having issues related to Windows Activation.

    It looks that Activation service not reachable due DNS resolution failure.

    Please try to connect using Different Internet or Network then try to Activate Windows.

    This is cloud only enviroment, there is no KMS server involved.

    I deep dived into licenses and discovered that my User Account does have Windows 10/11 Enterprise license E3. So the problem must be elsewhere...
