Windows Mail app showing raw HTML data from particular senders

Windows Mail app is not working properly. Emails from particular senders show raw HTML data in the text body or sometimes a blank reading pane. The problem seems to be specific to either the latest Mail and Calendar app or Windows 11. I recently upgraded to a new computer with Windows 11 Pro. The same app worked perfectly in Windows 10. The problem is specific to certain senders for example emails from Verizon, Walgreens or PayPal will consistently have this problem. Emails from many other senders are normal. Email sent from those same senders before the switch (in Windows 10 environment) appear normal.
All the problematic emails appear normal when opened in a browser or even other third-party apps, such as Samsung Mail on my phone. I really like the app. Now that I have an up-to-date version of the latest OS and app, it is very frustrating that I have to sign in through a browser in order to read certain emails now.

Things I have already tried that do not fix the problem:
Resetting the app
Reparing the app
Uninstalling and reintalling the app.

I heard rumors that Microsoft is planning to abandon this app and replace it. I hope that doesn't mean that they no longer care about errors associated with it and that there is no solution forthcoming in a future update for example.

Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.

While I appreciate your interest in my issue, that is not really a solution. I have changed machines so downgrading to Windows 10 is not an option.
Even if it were, I would not be willing to do that. As much as I liked the Mail app, it is not worth throwing out the whole OS to make it work properly. It is a shame that Microsoft apparently no longer cares to support the app.

I have this same problem and it started before I upgraded to Windows 11. It's been going on for months.

Same issue in Windows 10. Only with certain emails so it's not even linked to the same senders at times. I have to log in to the Yahoo mail app to read those, so I'm hoping Microsoft will fix this soon.
