Does the "Consumer Site List" always take precedence over the "Enterprise Site List" in IE mode policies?

Sites that no longer support IE are forced to open in IE mode after Edge 105 updates.

It appears to be registered on the Consumer Site List at https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2171760&bucket=63 .
Is there a way to ignore this setting or to add a setting with a higher priority?

I tried applying <open-in>msedge</open-in> in Enterprise Mode Site List Manager,
but IE mode is still enforced.

The sites in question are as follows:
mail.korea.kr
cpms.childcare.go.kr

The above sites are operated by the Korean government office and currently supports Edge well.

In my test, if you set group policies to configure IE mode, it will take precedence over "Consumer Site List".

Could you please tell me the exact version of your Edge browser and OS? And how you configure IE mode group policies? You can provide the screenshot of this page edge://compat/enterprise and this page edge://compat/iediagnostic in Edge.

Could you please add allow-redirect="true" for mail.korea.kr in Enterprise sites list? Just like below:

<site url="mail.korea.kr"> <compat-mode>Default</compat-mode> <open-in allow-redirect="true">MSEdge</open-in> </site>

Then click Force update on page edge://compat/enterprise. After that, please clear browser cache and test again.

Your configurations look good and it should work. I can't reproduce the issue in my environment. Maybe the issue is related with your environment. I suggest you can open a support ticket to Microsoft so that they can do a deeper investigation.

Besides, I found that your "Consumer site list" version is 28 and mine is 77 in which there's no IE mode mail.korea.kr:

I have no idea why your version is 28 as we're using the same version of Edge and OS. You can try to search for Windows updates in your computer and install the latest Windows updates to see if you can get higher version of "Consumer site list".
