I'm preparing for an IT company interview but I can't get to answer this question and has been struggling a lot.
How would you set up an Active Directory for a company of 50 people in 3 different locations? (Be as technical as possible)

    Hi @Moises Tamayo

Just some starter advice below with some guided images:

    1) I would start off by reading about Active Directory Organizational Units:

    https://theitbros.com/active-directory-organizational-unit-ou/

    2) You can learn about Domain Controllers, directory users, trust relationships, forests, trees and events:

    Hi

Assuming this is all the information you have been given, the question is probably not so much about the solution but more about the questions you ask, as this is not enough info to propose or design a solution.

You should be asking questions like:

What are your access requirements, local or remote?
    What is the network topology?
    What are security control?
Who will it be managing the environment?
What services/applications will be used by users and where are they located?
    What is the organisational structure?
What external services will be accessed and using what authentication method?
What is the life cycle management for users, and who is responsible?
Is on-premises AD the correct solution?
    Etc...

You will need the know the information provided by DillionJS to able able to take the answers from the questions and design a solution.

    Gary.
