Hi All

i am using MAP tool to discover SQL servers. i am noticing that all my sql servers are not being discovered. i want to raise a ticket with Microsoft. which category does MAP comes when raising a ticket with Microsoft. i am logged in serviceshub but not sure of the category. please guide me.

Additionally,

Please check below pointers if not in checked already for MAP.

The MAP tool has to be run by a domain administrator.

Also, there have to be (TCP/IP) ports open on the firewall of SQL Servers/instances behind a firewall, otherwise, the MAP tool will not find them.

On the 'Discovery Methods' page, choose 'Use Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) AND 'Use Windows networking protocol' as 'methods to use to discovery computers'.

Hi,

You can raise a ticket via this link create-ticket and select the services to Azure Migrate and select discovery & assessment and provide the details of the issue as MAP falls under Azure Migrate category.
