    Hi,

Is it a managed VM or general VM? Check the steps here capture-image-resource

I am assuming it is Linux or Unix OS underneath the FG so try this - download-vhd

Hello i tried this before the machine captures the image successfully
but when i try to create an vm from an image that was saved
it doesnt work there is no connectivity and no network i tried to reach fortigate and they said that they dont know if it works
and i should asking azure for instructions

when i try to create vm using the image i get timeout because the agent is not responding
and its says that the machine is not generalised and it fails on timeout

i checked azure database and you cant generalise this vm because its a custom OS - Fortios
i does not allow to run linux commands as you want
you can only use Fortios hard coded commands
