Full stack application App Service vs Static WebApp

I am creating a full stack application and I wonder where I should deploy my frontend React.js code.

The frontend app will make up to 5-10 API requests per minute.

Should I deploy it to Static Web App or App service?

I am aware of the differences, just trying to understand what would be more recommended.
Because frontend is mostly html that is served and ran in the browser, server does not do much compute work.

However, a lot of examples I have seen use App Service to deploy their frontend code.

Thanks!

    Hello @Aldar

One of the biggest differentiators of Azure Static Web Apps is the ability to integrate them into Azure DevOps or GitHub, meaning you can have an ‘out of the box’ fully automated system, incorporating CI/CD from day 1.
The key thing to remember with Azure Static Web Apps is that you build the application from a repository.
Azure Static Web Apps offers cost-effective pricing from test or production apps comparing to Azure Web Apps.

If you require features that go beyond what Azure Static Web Apps offer (i.e. Database services, .NET apps, etc), then Azure Web Apps could be your best bet. For any kind of application server that needs more than just a front end (and needs to deliver more than just static content), this could be your best option.

I suppose Azure Static Web Apps will be more cost-effective in your case and give you CI/CD benefits.
