Hi@MISAdmin .
FSMT is currently out of use. You can try using robocopy or xcopy that comes with Windows Server to perform a file server migration.
Please refer to the official documentation for specific steps:https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/storage/dfs-replication/preseed-dfsr-with-robocopy
Will The MICROSOFT FILE SERVER MIGRATION TOOLKIT 1.2 Work For A File Server Migration From 2012 R2 to 2019?

I was told this tool still works on newer systems. Has anyone used it successfully going from 2012 R2 to 2019? Supposedly it's better than Storage Migration Service. It's a File Server so I'm looking for all shares and file ACLs along with the files and folders.

2022-09-28T14:06:03.43+00:00 Hi. I didn't want to use the newer tool because I heard that it wasn't as good. I may try it but the project won't commence for a few months.
