Office 365 Apps - Channel Update without downgrade

Hi - planning on moving from Current Channel to Monthly Enterprise. Any advise or tips on how to make switch without downgrade and losing features?
If i made switch today, current(2208) devices would downgrade to 2207

    Since the versions in current channel and monthly enterprise are different, you have to change versions of Office 365 when change update channel. Here is a link for reference update-history-microsoft365-apps-by-date.

    @Charles Qi_MSFT Yes version will change. I was hoping to minimise disruption of downgrade and feature loss.

    I found Servicing via https://config.office.com/ which will do what I need. Plan is to add exclusion dates until next update to Monthly so Currently channel won't update.
