MS Authenticator Scan QR Code won't stop spinning/running & I can't get out

I have been using MS Authenticator for two of our protected sites with no problem. I was trying to add another site, but when I ran the scan QR code from the Authenticator app on my iPhone it just started spinning/running like it was doing something, but that was hours ago and it's still stuck. I can't go back and I get out or make it stop. If I could get it to stop spinning so I can close out of the app to uninstall and reinstall it I would but it's stuck. Please Help!
