windows form size auto change

I'm learning windows form, when I input a label size: 200, 300, but it always change it to 250, 48 or something else value . I'm very confused. My autosize is setting to false before.

@littlefox , Welcome to Microsoft Q&A, what is the .NET Framework version you used about your project?
Based on my test, I could use the following code to change the label size correctly. I suggest that you could use BackColor to detect if the size has been changed.

 private void Form1_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)  
        {  
            label1.BackColor = Color.Red;  
        }  
  
        private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)  
        {  
  
            label1.AutoSize = false;  
            label1.Size = new Size(200, 300);  
            MessageBox.Show(label1.Size.Width.ToString() + " " + label1.Size.Height.ToString());  
      
  
  
        }

Maybe you did not change the AutoSize of this label. The Form Designer seems to work as expected if AutoSize is False.

Did you also change some other properties of the label? Or maybe you put it inside some containers. Check if it works in case of new labels.
