windows server 2019 server and client

Question

Good day!
Does connect a client pc to a server domain, and creating a user on it will save their files? and once they sign in to another computer they will see their files too?
Meaning a user can only see their files once they sign in to any of the PC? Am I right? Can anyone enlighten me, I am new to windows server 2019.

One way to achieve this goal is to use redirected folders or home folders.
