my visual studio code not open, when I double click on the icon the app opens up for 1 sec and closes automatically. I tried to reinstall, delete all the backups & extensions. update the graphics driver and even updated the window to ver 11. please help.

Thanks for taking time to post this issue on Microsoft Q&A forum. Since Visual Studio Code is currently not supported in Microsoft Q&A forums, I recommend posting this question on Stack Overflow - visual studio code for better help.
BTW, I suggest you check following aspects: 1. Have full permissions to use VS Code(right-click to run VS Code as administrator). 2. There’s no antivirus software which may prevent VS Code from starting. 3. You didn’t change any Windows OS related settings, like Registry, environment settings…

Another thing is does anything change in Task manager when you try to launch it? It may give you some clues...
