It feels like I have read every article and thread on this topic, but nothing has changed.
I am trying to setup scan to Office 365 email on this Toshiba eStudio 2515ac printer. All of the settings match what Microsoft says to do on the "How to set up a multifunction device or application to send email using Microsoft 365 or Office 365" article.
Here is what I have tried:
- Using port 25 and 587
- Enabling/disabling POP
- Disabling authentication (as one option in the Microsoft article I think says to do this)
- Adding the proper MX records to the emails' domain (mail.proection.outlook.com)
- Adding connector in Exchange for the printers WiFi public IP address
- Changing mail apps in the admin center (see below)
I have tried messing with many other settings as well in TopAccess (Toshiba printer settings local webpage) as well, but all to no avail.
Also, here are all the mail apps features set in the Microsoft Admin Center for this printing email (see below if not showing in-text):
Now, with all this said, what I am trying to achieve is that the users scan a document to the email and can only scan to in-organization accounts, with only being able to send from one email address. While doing this seems completely feasible and possible, I will gladly set it up however it works as long as it is secure.
Please let me know if there is anything I can clarify.
