I have tried setting this up as per this article.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/minimum-password-length-auditing-and-enforcement-on-certain-versions-of-windows-5ef7fecf-3325-f56b-cc10-4fd565aacc59#:~:text=We%20recommend%20leaving%20the%20auditing,of%20greater%20than%2014%2Dcharacters.

But, I kept my password policy to 7 under default domain policy and the audit is set for 15 for default domain under Domain Controller OU.
I am still not getting the Audit events.
Could anyone tell me what could be the reason?

    Hi,

Thank you for your question and reaching out.

I understand that you're having issues with the minimum password length. Before proceeding, make sure that your password meets the complexity requirements which are stated from this link https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/threat-protection/security-policy-settings/password-must-meet-complexity-requirements

Now, for the Audit Events, you may check them from this location on your PC: Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Account Policies -> Password Policy -> Minimum password length audit

You may also refer to this link for more information:https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/threat-protection/security-policy-settings/minimum-password-length
