Excel UserForm Frame and Border Color

System OS - Windows 10
Application - Excel 2019

I use UserForms to present or collect information from the end user. Previously the UserForm frame and its color looked like the following:

Currently in the VBA editor, the UserForm looks like the the image below and seems very similar to the former style of the UserForm.

When the current UserForm is displayed to the end user, it looks like the image below:

I am not proficient in Windows, but I suspect that something must have altered some systemwide frame and color parameters. I would like to know that parameters might have caused the change to the display style for the UserForm and how to get the current values of these parameters as well as the default or former values of these parameters that altered the style of the UserForm frame and colors.

    Re: UserForm settings

First- a "Frame" on a userform (UF) is a control that can be added to the UF.
It is used to group some or all controls on a UF.
I don't recommend its use (it is a memory hog).

Second - The Properties window of a UF displays options that can be set/changed for a UF or
for any control on the UF. Display the Properties window from the View menu or by
    pressing the F4 key.

Third - The Windows colors setting also "help" or interfere with what colors are displayed to the user. Please note you cannot set the users Windows color settings; so what you see may not be what the user sees.

Re: speckled appearance of user form

That looks like the "Show Grid" option has been selected.

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

To clarify, the two separate, but possible related, issues that I have with the UserForm are: (1) the UserForm frame border, i.e. the perimeter or outside border, and (2) the UserForm title, i.e. topmost portion of the UserForm, background color.

In the earlier end user view and the current VBA editor view,
    (1) the UserForm frame border consists of a thick line with color and a thin black line.
    (2) the UserForm title background has color.

In the current end user view,
    (1) the UserForm frame border consists of a thin black line.
    (2) the UserForm title background is white.

In regard to the grid, you are correct that the grid is generally enabled in the VBA editor to facilitate the layout, but the grid is not displayed to the end user, nor is it part of the two issues.

I hope that is clarification of the issues is helpful and can possibly result in a solution.

    Kind regards,
    S. Bode
