what is the working practice to move/copy onenote from work account to personal hotmail account?

Dear experts,

As captioned, I tried to move some of the notes from my work account to another personal hotmail account, OneDrive accounts are up and running. I tried to changed the location via OneNote client 365, it seems moving location is just fine. However, when I tried to use the personal account to check the contents, it always said it's not synchoronized yet.

So how we can accomplish the goal of doing so?
Thanks a lot! This is almost driving me crazy now.
