For running PowerShell on macOS, the current recommendation is to use Powershell 7.2 as an in-place upgrade that removes previous versions of PowerShell 6.x and 7.x:
Also note that you can use Azure Cloud Shell from the browser on macOS.

If I want to recommend, I will recommend using Windows PC with Powershell.
It would be very cost-effective.
If I have MacOS already then I will use that only.

While PowerShell Core 6.0 can be used to manage Azure resources, it does not have full feature parity with Windows PowerShell and some modules may not be available.
Additionally, the Azure PowerShell module is designed to be used with Windows PowerShell and is not officially supported on PowerShell Core.

I know u can not dod this with versions below version 6 ... however two many websites are giving differing answers .. so i guess this one will be aguess and hope for the best in the exam.
actually in the exam , the question mentions 5.5 ... in that case the answer is not suitable
