Good morning,

I have been having a problem with HP Officejet 200 printers not properly working with Windows 11. It was working fine with Windows 10 but ever since upgrading to 11 it will constantly go into an error state regardless of anything we try. We are using it through USB cords directly to the computer as we cannot use it over bluet tooth. Here is a list of everything we have tried:

Used the Windows 11 drivers directly from HP

Not downloading any driver and letting Microsoft download a generic PnP driver, this caused it to rarely work.

Used the HP Easy Start which worked for a bit then failed

Used the HP Smart Start, or whatever it is called, app which also did not work properly.

We contacted HP for answers but they were not very helpful. I'm wondering if this is a Windows 11 issue. It is noted we have not attempted it on 22H2 as it was released a few days ago, we have only tried 21H2. Thank you!

Hi @The Great and Powerful Oz

With every OS change there could be a requirement for a vendor such as HP to respond. There may be something important that HP may have to update with regards to their drivers.

Try using the following troubleshooting guide from HP:

Try open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.
Try uninstalling all drivers and restart your PC and download and install the latest driver from the HP website.
Try run Windows Update and download and install all updates.
